Kristin Giordano is a fine art photographer based out of Tacoma, WA. Since arriving in Tacoma 2 years ago, she has been awarded a Print Sponsorship award from the Photographic Center Northwest, and was one of 8 artists selected in the Helm Gallery’s competitive juried show in 2008.  Her artwork was also selected for 2 high profile portable works acquisitions; the Tacoma Power Portable Works Collection, and Pierce County Arts Collection, 2007.

Her work has been exhibited at the Helm Gallery, Platform Gallery, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson; Metroform Ltd. gallery; Blackwater Café, the Panel Gallery; and the gallery at the historic Hotel Congress. She was an organizer and participant in the famous Hotshoe Salon in Tucson AZ for 5 years, and was a member of the Flashflood Artist’s Cooperative. Her work is represented by Getty, Photonations, and Alamy, and online at photobistro.com, and is in many private and public collections.
Awards include a PostPicasso's best in show for Interpreting Spirituality, and a Tucson-Pima Arts council travel grant to Senegal. Publications include Harvard Design, Woodstock Quarterly, you are here, and numerous book covers and calendars.  She served as staff photographer for the Tucson Weekly for 5 years, and currently photographs and writes the Walkabout feature in City Arts Magazine.  She has photographed all over the world, in India, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Mexico, Central America, and in her own backyard in Tucson and Tacoma.
